Polycor Inc., the world's largest natural stone quarrier, has agreed to acquire North Carolina Granite Corporation (NCGC), a leading quarrier and producer of White Mount Airy Granite based in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The deal — expected to close before the end of 2020 and subject to closing conditions — expands Polycor's geographic footprint and product portfolio; NCGC operates since 1889 with roughly 80 employees.
