Maui, Hawaii–based space situational awareness company Privateer has acquired Palo Alto–founded geospatial data analytics firm Orbital Insight. The acquisition will integrate Orbital Insight's TerraScope analytics platform with Privateer's Wayfinder data engine to provide combined sea-to-space intelligence and expanded capabilities for government and commercial customers.

The deal expands Certerra's presence and capabilities in the U.S. Southeast—adding laboratory and field testing capacity in Tampa, Orlando and Pensacola—and will enhance service offerings to government, transportation, municipal and commercial infrastructure clients.

Oceanscan is headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, with subsidiaries in Houston and Singapore and four UK operating subsidiaries; the deal expands Venterra's capabilities in offshore wind and related energy markets.
