Upland Software Acquires BA Insight

Upland Software, a publicly traded provider of cloud-based knowledge and content management software, has acquired BA Insight, a provider of enterprise search solutions. The acquisition (approximately $33.4M cash plus a $0.6M holdback) expands Upland's knowledge management portfolio by adding enterprise search and AI-driven search capabilities and is expected to be immediately accretive to Adjusted EBITDA.

Orica Acquires Terra Insights from Vance Street Capital

Orica (ASX: ORI) agreed to acquire Terra Insights from Vance Street Capital for CAD 505 million in a deal announced December 19, 2023, expected to close in H1 2024. The acquisition expands Orica’s digital and geotechnical monitoring capabilities by adding Terra’s end-to-end sensor, data delivery and geospatial monitoring platform, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Waterland Private Equity Acquires Majority Stake in INCOSA

CACI Acquires Applied Insight

CACI International has acquired Reston, Virginia-based cloud, data and cybersecurity firm Applied Insight from private equity owner Acacia Group in an all-cash transaction. The deal adds Applied Insight’s cloud migration, secure networking and infrastructure modernization capabilities—and its government/DoD and Intelligence Community relationships—to CACI’s portfolio, strengthening the buyer’s cloud and cyber offerings for defense and national security customers.
