Qlik has acquired Mozaic Data, an AI-driven data management technology provider, to accelerate its data-product-oriented capabilities across data quality, governance and a SaaS-based Data Product Catalog. Mozaic founder Sharad Kumar will join Qlik as Regional Head of Data Integration and Quality to help integrate Mozaic’s technology into Qlik’s data integration and analytics portfolio and cloud platform integrations.
Snowflake has acquired Samooha, a developer-focused provider of data clean room templates and tooling, to accelerate the build-out and interoperability of data clean rooms within the Snowflake Data Cloud. Samooha's founders and employees will join Snowflake as the company integrates Samooha's privacy-preserving, Snowflake-native app capabilities to simplify secure data collaboration across media, financial services and other regulated industries.
Rivean Capital, together with the Dataciders management team, is acquiring Dataciders GmbH from investment funds advised by AUCTUS Capital Partners AG. Dataciders is a Dortmund-based data & analytics service provider with over 500 employees and about €70 million in expected revenues; Rivean will provide capital and strategic support to accelerate growth and establish the company as a DACH market leader. Closing is planned for January 2024 and the purchase price was not disclosed.
Accenture has acquired Redkite, a London-based data consultancy of more than 230 professionals, to expand its Data & AI capabilities in the UK and accelerate clients’ adoption of modern data platforms and AI. The deal will integrate Redkite’s full-stack data expertise into Accenture’s Data & AI practice; financial terms were not disclosed.
Veson Nautical has acquired Shipfix, the AI-enabled collaborative data platform for the maritime and trade sectors. The deal brings Shipfix's pre-fixture data, collaboration tools and team into Veson's IMOS platform to strengthen data intelligence, AI capabilities and end-to-end freight trading and operations workflows.
Diné Development Corporation (DDC), a Navajo Nation–owned government services company, has acquired Spin Systems, Inc. (SpinSys), an award-winning data analytics and AI/ML-driven intelligence visualization software and services firm. The acquisition adds SpinSys’s big-data aggregation, visualization, cloud migration and predictive modeling capabilities to DDC’s existing IT and professional services offerings to better serve U.S. government customers, including the Department of Defense.
Embrace Software Inc has acquired Northwest Analytics (NWA), a provider of manufacturing analytics and Industry 4.0 digital transformation solutions. The deal—Embrace Industrial Group's sixth acquisition—adds NWA's analytics suite and manufacturing domain expertise to Embrace's industrial software portfolio and is intended to accelerate product R&D, including machine learning and generative AI capabilities.
