Certerra Acquires Tierra, Inc.

Certerra, a technology-enabled testing, inspection and certification platform backed by OceanSound Partners, has acquired Tierra, Inc., a Tampa-based geotechnical and materials engineering firm with 27+ years of experience and over 210 employees. The deal expands Certerra's presence and capabilities in the U.S. Southeast—adding laboratory and field testing capacity in Tampa, Orlando and Pensacola—and will enhance service offerings to government, transportation, municipal and commercial infrastructure clients.
