The deal expands Certerra's presence and capabilities in the U.S. Southeast—adding laboratory and field testing capacity in Tampa, Orlando and Pensacola—and will enhance service offerings to government, transportation, municipal and commercial infrastructure clients.

G2 Consulting Group Acquires Construction Testing Services

Troy, Michigan-based G2 Consulting Group has acquired Construction Testing Services (CTS), a long-standing Michigan engineering and materials testing firm with a nine-person team. The succession-driven acquisition expands G2's in-state footprint and adds CTS' geotechnical and materials testing capabilities while preserving CTS' staff and client relationships; financial terms were not disclosed.

Alliance Technical Group Acquires Chemtech Consulting and Air Testing Operations from Civil & Environmental Consultants

Alliance Technical Group acquired Chemtech Consulting Group, Inc. (Mountainside, New Jersey) and the air testing operations of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (locations in St. Louis, Charlotte and Knoxville) to expand its laboratory and air emissions testing capabilities and geographic footprint. The air testing carve‑out was a divestiture by CEC (advised by AEC Advisors); Alliance said the deals broaden its service coverage across key U.S. markets.
