CMT Technical Services Acquires Cesare, Inc.

CMT Technical Services (a CAI Capital Partners-backed portfolio company) has acquired Cesare, Inc., a Colorado-based consulting engineering firm specializing in construction material testing, geotechnical, and forensic engineering. The deal adds four offices and approximately 50 employees in Colorado, expands CMT's geographic footprint and service capabilities, and the Cesare owner-managers (led by William "Bill" Caires) retain an equity interest and will remain in their roles.

The add-on expands CMT's presence in Texas by adding approximately 40 personnel and retains Paradigm leadership with Woody Vogt and Ray Meyer keeping equity and remaining in their roles.

The existing owner-managers, led by President Doug Watson, retain a meaningful equity stake and will remain in their current roles as CAI supports geographic and service-line growth.

G2 Consulting Group Acquires Construction Testing Services

The succession-driven acquisition expands G2's in-state footprint and adds CTS' geotechnical and materials testing capabilities while preserving CTS' staff and client relationships; financial terms were not disclosed.

ConeTec Group Acquires Geotech Drilling Services

Alliance Technical Group acquired Chemtech Consulting Group, Inc. (Mountainside, New Jersey) and the air testing operations of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (locations in St. Louis, Charlotte and Knoxville) to expand its laboratory and air emissions testing capabilities and geographic footprint. The air testing carve‑out was a divestiture by CEC (advised by AEC Advisors); Alliance said the deals broaden its service coverage across key U.S. markets.
