CMT Technical Services, a portfolio company of CAI Capital Partners, has acquired CTC-Geotek, a Denver-based consulting engineering firm specializing in construction material testing, inspection, geological consulting, and geotechnical and environmental engineering. The add-on strengthens CMT’s presence and service offering in Colorado and integrates CTC leadership into CMT’s Colorado inspection services team.

Terracon Acquires SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services

Terracon, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm based in Olathe, Kansas, has acquired Rhode Island-based SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services. The acquisition adds environmental assessment, remediation, permitting, regulatory compliance and specialized geotechnical/environmental drilling capabilities to Terracon’s existing Northeast operations and brings roughly 33 SAGE employees into Terracon.

Subterra Renewables Acquires Earth Drilling Co. and Harris Exploration to Expand Geothermal Drilling Coast-to-Coast

Subterra Renewables' affiliated companies have acquired Alberta-based Earth Drilling Co. Ltd. and Nevada-based Harris Exploration to expand coast-to-coast geothermal drilling capacity across Canada and the U.S. The deals add experienced drilling teams and rigs, support the launch of a Calgary office led by Matthew Tokarik, and strengthen Subterra's vertically integrated geothermal services and utility offerings.

SOCOTEC Acquires TRIGIS GeoServices GmbH

TRIGIS operates six offices across Berlin, Saxony and Thuringia and brings specialized surveying and monitoring services that expand SOCOTEC Deutschland's engineering and infrastructure inspection offering.

Palatine-backed CTS Group Acquires Concept Engineering Consultants

The acquisition — CTS's eighth since Palatine's investment in 2018 — expands CTS's geotechnical consulting, coring, drilling and site investigation capabilities and brings Concept's ~105 employees and Leicester headquarters into the group.
