CTS Group Acquires In Situ Site Investigation Limited

CTS Group, backed by private equity firm Palatine, has acquired geotechnical and geo-environmental specialist In Situ Site Investigation Limited. The St Leonards-on-sea business (37 employees) will expand CTS's ground investigation and site testing capabilities as part of its ongoing buy-and-build growth strategy to broaden geographic coverage and service offerings across the infrastructure and construction markets.

Troy, Michigan-based G2 Consulting Group has acquired Construction Testing Services (CTS), a long-standing Michigan engineering and materials testing firm with a nine-person team. The succession-driven acquisition expands G2's in-state footprint and adds CTS' geotechnical and materials testing capabilities while preserving CTS' staff and client relationships; financial terms were not disclosed.
