Construction Testing Solutions Acquires Silkstone Environmental Limited

Construction Testing Solutions (CTS), backed by Palatine Private Equity, has acquired Sheffield-based Silkstone Environmental Limited (SEL), a 12-person environmental consultancy specialising in minerals and waste planning & permitting, site investigation, environmental monitoring and surveying. The bolt-on deal expands CTS's environmental, landfill and quarry monitoring and permitting capabilities across the UK; Silkstone's former owner Mark Barrett will remain with the business.
