The deal brings Brainier's LMS capabilities into ClearCompany's talent management suite to expand learning and development functionality; financial terms were not disclosed.

Gemspring Capital (through an affiliate) has acquired GoldenSource Corp., a New York City–headquartered provider of enterprise and master data management software and related cloud hosting/managed services for financial services firms. GoldenSource, founded in 1984 with about 380 employees, will partner with Gemspring to accelerate product innovation, organic growth, and pursue strategic acquisitions to address rising demand from banks, asset managers, and capital markets firms.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s private equity business has agreed to acquire Chartered insurance broker Clear Group from ECI Partners, subject to regulatory approval. Clear Group, which has grown via 10 acquisitions under ECI and now employs over 600 people across 15 locations while handling over £330m of premiums, will be backed by Goldman Sachs to continue its M&A-driven scaling strategy.
