Tech Soft 3D has acquired the core Actify business — including SpinFire, CAD Publisher and Centro — from Actify, Inc. The deal expands Tech Soft 3D's product portfolio and establishes an End-User Solutions division to strengthen its CAD data translation, visualization and collaboration offerings for manufacturing and automotive customers. Financial terms were not disclosed; Tech Soft 3D is backed by Battery Ventures.
