Bormioli Pharma Acquires Remy & Geiser GmbH (R&G)

Bormioli Pharma S.p.A., a Triton Fund IV-backed packaging specialist, has acquired Remy & Geiser GmbH (R&G), a German manufacturer of plastic and glass primary packaging for the pharmaceutical industry. The deal strengthens Bormioli Pharma's presence in Germany and Northern Europe, expands its product range (closures, dosing systems, pipette droppers and tubular glass vials) and adds manufacturing capacity (two plants in Altenfeld and Schleusingen; ~270 employees).

Gerresheimer Acquires Blitz LuxCo Sarl (Bormioli Pharma Group) from Triton

Gerresheimer has acquired Blitz LuxCo Sarl, the holding company of the Bormioli Pharma Group, from funds advised by Triton and co-investors. Bormioli is a leading producer of pharmaceutical primary packaging (glass and plastic), with ~1,400 employees and ~EUR 370 million sales in 2023; the acquisition expands Gerresheimer's pharma packaging capabilities and product portfolio.

Bormioli Pharma Acquires GCL Pharma

Bormioli Pharma, a Triton Fund IV company, has acquired 100% of GCL Pharma (previously part of Guala Closures Group), a Vasto (Chieti), Italy-based manufacturer of rubber stoppers and aluminium closures for pharmaceutical applications. The business will be integrated into the Bormioli Pharma group as Bormioli Pharma Vasto Srl, expanding the buyer's pharmaceutical-closures and packaging capabilities as an add-on to its platform.

Berlin Packaging Acquires Roma International PLC

TricorBraun Acquires Euroglas and Glaspack

TricorBraun has completed the acquisition of German-based Euroglas and Austrian-based Glaspack, two family-run distributors of rigid packaging solutions, to expand its packaging footprint in the DACH region. Both companies (founded in 1992) supply stock and custom glass packaging to food, beverage, wine, beer and spirits customers; financial terms were not disclosed.
