ENVEA Acquires Droplet Measurement Technologies

ENVEA, the Carlyle-backed environmental monitoring group, has acquired Droplet Measurement Technologies from Benford Capital Partners. The deal, which closed on October 31, 2024, adds Droplet's high-precision aerosol and cloud-droplet instruments to ENVEA's particulate monitoring platform and expands the group's presence in the United States and research markets.

Scienta Scientific AB acquired Envinet GmbH, a Munich-based market leader in area monitoring radiation protection networks, effective March 31, 2021. The deal combines Envinet's gamma radiation detection networks with Scienta's airborne xenon detection capabilities to form a new Environmental Protection application area under the joint brand Scienta Envinet, strengthening Scienta's radiation protection solutions and global sales and service reach.

Environ Energy Acquires Carbon Analytics Firm Scope 5

Bertin Technologies Acquires Environics Oy

French instrumentation group Bertin Technologies has acquired Finnish CBRN detection specialist Environics Oy from Verso Capital; the deal was announced September 29, 2022 and is backed by Bertin's owner FCDE. The acquisition creates a combined European CBRN player, strengthens Bertin's Nordic presence and expands its portfolio of detection, identification and monitoring solutions for authorities, manufacturers and first responders.

The existing owner-managers, led by President Doug Watson, retain a meaningful equity stake and will remain in their current roles as CAI supports geographic and service-line growth.

Union Park Capital Acquires Davis Instruments

Davis will join Union Park's Advanced Environmental Monitoring (AE Monitoring) platform as an add-on to expand the platform's product and manufacturing capabilities across meteorology, hydrology and environmental monitoring end markets; terms were not disclosed.
