ENVEA Acquires California Analytical Instruments (CAI)

ENVEA, the French environmental monitoring equipment group (PE-backed by Carlyle), has acquired California Analytical Instruments, Inc. (CAI), a US-based designer and manufacturer of gas analyzers and emission-monitoring systems. The acquisition expands ENVEA's product portfolio and strengthens its presence and technical capabilities in the US market; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bertin Technologies Acquires Environics Oy

French instrumentation group Bertin Technologies has acquired Finnish CBRN detection specialist Environics Oy from Verso Capital; the deal was announced September 29, 2022 and is backed by Bertin's owner FCDE. The acquisition creates a combined European CBRN player, strengthens Bertin's Nordic presence and expands its portfolio of detection, identification and monitoring solutions for authorities, manufacturers and first responders.

NanoTemper Technologies Acquires Envue Technologies

NanoTemper Technologies has acquired Envue Technologies, a Swedish spinout that developed Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy (NSM), to expand its single-molecule and label-free analysis capabilities. The deal integrates Envue's NSM technology into NanoTemper's biophysical analysis portfolio and coincides with NanoTemper's launch of the Dianthus α application to enhance early-stage drug discovery workflows.

Sagepeak Capital Acquires ENMET from Benford Capital Partners

Sagepeak Capital, a Boston-area private investment firm, has acquired ENMET, LLC, a manufacturer of hazardous gas detection equipment, from Benford Capital Partners. Benford Capital had owned ENMET since 2014, during which it completed growth initiatives including an add-on acquisition of Sensora Corporation; Sagepeak is the new financial sponsor to support the company’s next growth chapter.

Mettler-Toledo Acquires PendoTECH

Mettler-Toledo International Inc. completed the acquisition of PendoTECH, a Princeton, New Jersey–based maker of single-use sensors, transmitters, control systems and software for bioprocess measurement and monitoring. The transaction includes $185 million initial consideration plus up to $20 million in contingent payments and is intended to expand Mettler-Toledo's process-analytics and sensor offerings for the bioprocessing market and enable cross-selling and broader global reach.

Enpro Inc. Acquires AlpHa Measurement Solutions and Overlook Industries

Enpro Inc. agreed to acquire AlpHa Measurement Solutions and Overlook Industries for an aggregate of approximately $280 million in cash, expanding its Sealing Technologies segment with liquid analytical sensing/instrumentation and single-use biopharma components. Overlook’s deal closed Oct. 8, 2025, and Enpro completed the AlpHa acquisition in November 2025; the combined acquisitions are expected to contribute more than $60 million in revenue and $17–18 million in adjusted segment EBITDA.
