Cloud Equity Group, a New York–based private equity firm, has acquired Schaumburg, Illinois–based digital agency eBizUniverse. Terms were not disclosed; Cloud Equity Group said the acquisition creates synergies with its earlier acquisition of Chrein to expand its digital agency capabilities serving government and private-sector clients.

The investment will support Webair's growth and expansion of its managed cloud, DRaaS, BaaS and infrastructure management offerings while founders and management remain invested alongside Crest Rock.
