Siemens AG has completed the acquisition of Altair Engineering Inc. for an enterprise value of approximately USD 10 billion. The deal adds Altair's capabilities in mechanical and electromagnetic simulation, high-performance computing (HPC), data science and AI to Siemens' Xcelerator platform, strengthening Siemens' industrial software and digital twin offerings.

Altair Acquires OmniQuest

The deal adds OmniQuest's optimization algorithms and expertise—used across automotive, motorsport (Formula 1) and aerospace applications—to Altair's simulation and AI product portfolio to strengthen its optimization capabilities.

Unaric Acquires Mirage Computer Systems GmbH

Unaric has acquired German-based Mirage Computer Systems GmbH to expand its RevOps and Service Cloud application suites on the Salesforce platform. Mirage, an Independent Software Vendor since 1995 known for its CTI Data Connector and Microsoft Teams–to–Salesforce telephony integration, will join Unaric's growing suite of Salesforce-focused products.

Altair Acquires Ellexus

Altair will integrate Ellexus' technology into its PBS Works storage-aware scheduling capabilities to enhance performance, cloud readiness, and storage diagnostics for HPC, data analytics, AI and ADAS workloads.

Apollo Funds Acquire Univar Solutions (minority investment from ADIA)

Apollo Funds completed a take-private acquisition of Univar Solutions, acquiring all outstanding shares for $36.15 per share; a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) made a minority investment in the deal. Univar Solutions will continue to operate under its name with management remaining in place, and Apollo cited plans to accelerate growth, expand capabilities and pursue strategic initiatives across Univar's global chemical and ingredients distribution platform.
