MedX Holdings Inc. Acquires Dazed Inc.

MedX Holdings Inc. (MEDH) has acquired Dazed Inc., a Texas-based operator of the Lazydaze retail/coffee and cannabis concept, as a wholly owned subsidiary. MedX said the acquisition advances its strategy to build vertically integrated cannabis brands and expand into retail and public consumption lounges across U.S. markets.

TerrAscend Acquires Hempaid, LLC (d/b/a Blue Ridge Wellness)

TerrAscend Corp. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Hempaid, LLC (d/b/a Blue Ridge Wellness), a medical dispensary in Parkville, Maryland, for US$6.75 million (including US$3.0 million cash and a seller's note). The acquisition expands TerrAscend's Maryland retail footprint to three dispensaries ahead of the state's adult-use launch on July 1, 2023 and is expected to be immediately accretive to EBITDA and cash flow.

MariMed Acquires Kind Therapeutics USA

MariMed Inc. completed the acquisition of Kind Therapeutics U.S.A., LLC, a vertically integrated medical cannabis operator in Maryland. MariMed—an OTCQX-listed multi-state cannabis operator based in Norwood, Massachusetts—plans to expand Kind's cultivation canopy, add a GMP kitchen, and roll out new cannabis brands and products across the Maryland market.

Item 9 Labs Corp. (OTCQX: INLB) signed an Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire The Herbal Cure, a Denver-based medicinal and recreational cannabis dispensary and cultivator. The acquisition — which includes a 5,000 sq ft facility with 3,500 sq ft of retail/corporate space and a separate 3,000 sq ft cultivation area — will be converted to Item 9’s Unity Rd. dispensary brand pending regulatory approvals; The Herbal Cure reported $5.4 million in 2021 revenue.
