TerraVest Industries Acquires EnTrans International

TerraVest Industries Inc. has acquired EnTrans International, a North American manufacturer of tank trailers and specialty transportation equipment, for US$546 million plus up to US$46 million in contingent earn-out. The acquisition adds manufacturing capacity and complementary product lines (Heil, Polar, Kalyn Siebert, Jarco) across the United States, Mexico and Thailand and is intended to expand TerraVest's capabilities, cross-selling opportunities and geographic diversification.

TerraVest Industries Acquires KBK Industries LLC

(TSX: TVK) acquired KBK Industries, LLC, a Houston-based manufacturer of fiberglass and steel storage tanks, for US$90.0 million in cash (subject to a working capital adjustment). The acquisition expands TerraVest's U.S. tank manufacturing footprint and complements its existing fiberglass tank operations, providing additional channel opportunities (notably in the convenience-store segment) and geographic diversification.

TerraVest Acquires KBK Industries from Main Street Capital

TerraVest Industries has acquired KBK Industries, LLC, a Rush Center, Kansas-based manufacturer of large-volume aboveground and belowground fiberglass and steel tanks. The transaction enabled Main Street Capital Corporation to fully exit its debt and minority equity investments in KBK after a 20-year partnership; TerraVest said the acquisition expands its tank manufacturing capabilities and U.S. footprint.

Avem Partners Acquires Astech Engineered Products

True West Capital Partners provided growth capital in support of the acquisition alongside investments from Avem principals and other high-net-worth individuals; Avem intends to leverage its aerospace industry expertise and capital to expand Astech’s capabilities and market presence.

McGrath RentCorp Acquires VESTA Modular; Adler Tank Rentals Sold to Ironclad

McGrath RentCorp acquired VESTA Modular from Kinderhook Industries for a cash purchase price of $400 million, expanding McGrath's modular leasing and construction capabilities and geographic footprint. Concurrently, McGrath sold Adler Tank Rentals to Ironclad Environmental Solutions (a Kinderhook portfolio company) for $265 million as part of a simultaneous transaction sequence that realigned assets between the parties.

Tonka Bay Equity Partners Sells Engineered Specialty Products (ESP)
