TerraVest Industries Acquires EnTrans International

TerraVest Industries Inc. has acquired EnTrans International, a North American manufacturer of tank trailers and specialty transportation equipment, for US$546 million plus up to US$46 million in contingent earn-out. The acquisition adds manufacturing capacity and complementary product lines (Heil, Polar, Kalyn Siebert, Jarco) across the United States, Mexico and Thailand and is intended to expand TerraVest's capabilities, cross-selling opportunities and geographic diversification.

WiseTech Global Acquires Envase Technologies

WiseTech Global acquired Envase Technologies for US$230 million from private investment firm Firmament and a small number of other sellers. Envase, a Long Beach, California-based provider of transport management system software for intermodal trucking, drayage and landside logistics, serves more than 1,300 North American customers and was expected to generate about US$35 million of revenue in 2023; the deal is being funded with 70% cash and 30% new WiseTech shares.

EQT Private Equity and Mubadala Investment Company have agreed to acquire Envirotainer, the Stockholm-based global provider of temperature-controlled air cargo containers and cold chain solutions for biopharmaceuticals, from Cinven and Novo Holdings for an enterprise value of approximately €2.8 billion. The new owners plan to accelerate geographic expansion (notably in APAC), scale CryoSure and the Releye platform, and invest in technology, digitalization and sustainability; current shareholders may reinvest as minority holders.
