Qorvo Acquires Anokiwave

Qorvo has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Anokiwave, a Boston-based supplier of high-performance millimeter-wave integrated circuits for beamforming and IF-to-RF conversion used in phased arrays, SATCOM and 5G. The Anokiwave team will join Qorvo’s High Performance Analog segment to expand Qorvo’s capabilities and addressable opportunities across defense, aerospace and network infrastructure markets.

MACOM Acquires ENGIN-IC to Expand GaN MMIC Design Capabilities

MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. acquired ENGIN-IC, a fabless semiconductor design firm specializing in GaN MMICs and integrated microwave assemblies. The acquisition (funded with cash on hand) adds ENGIN-IC’s defense-focused MMIC and module design capabilities to MACOM’s portfolio to strengthen product offerings and support target markets.

Quantic Electronics Acquires X-Microwave

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired X-Microwave, a developer of modular RF and microwave building blocks used for rapid prototyping and production of RF/MW systems. The acquisition augments Quantic’s RF/Microwave technology portfolio and is intended to accelerate product development and expand capabilities across aerospace, defense, wireless infrastructure and advanced research end markets.

Quantic Electronics Acquires M-Wave Design

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired M-Wave Design, a supplier of ferrite-based RF and microwave passive components used in aerospace, defense and quantum computing applications. The acquisition is an add-on to Quantic's electronics portfolio and expands its product capabilities in high-performance, cryogenic-capable components for military, space and quantum customers.

CML Microsystems Acquires MicroWave Technology, Inc.

CML Microsystems Plc has completed the acquisition of MicroWave Technology, Inc. (MwT), a Silicon Valley–based compound semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1982 that specializes in GaAs and GaN MMICs, discrete devices and hybrid amplifier products. The deal expands CML Micro's product portfolio, strengthens its mmWave and high-frequency R&D capabilities, and aims to accelerate global market reach for MwT's products via CML's sales and distribution network.

Mercury Systems Acquires Atlanta Micro

Mercury Systems acquired Atlanta Micro, a Norcross, Georgia–based designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF modules and MMICs, to expand its RF and microwave component portfolio and deepen penetration in electronic warfare, radar and weapons markets. The all-cash purchase (subject to working capital and net debt adjustments) is expected to add approximately $16 million in trailing revenue and be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS.
