Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired M-Wave Design, a supplier of ferrite-based RF and microwave passive components used in aerospace, defense and quantum computing applications. The acquisition is an add-on to Quantic's electronics portfolio and expands its product capabilities in high-performance, cryogenic-capable components for military, space and quantum customers.

Qorvo Acquires Custom MMIC

Qorvo has completed the acquisition of Custom MMIC, a Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based supplier of GaAs and GaN monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs). The deal brings Custom MMIC’s mmWave capabilities and product portfolio into Qorvo’s Infrastructure and Defense Products business to expand offerings for defense, aerospace and commercial 5G markets.

Microwave Techniques Acquires Symphony Microwave Technologies

Microwave Techniques has completed the acquisition of Symphony Microwave Technologies, combining two manufacturers of high‑power microwave and RF components to create an advanced provider of microwave technology and RF solutions. The combined organization will operate across facilities in Gorham, Maine; Nashua, New Hampshire; and Hamburg, Germany, with more than 145 employees and aims to expand technical capabilities, product portfolio, and manufacturing capacity.

Maury Microwave to Acquire Wireless Telecom Group

Maury Microwave, backed by Artemis Capital Partners, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. (WTT), including its Boonton, Holzworth and Noisecom divisions, in a deal expected to close in Q3 2023 subject to shareholder approval and customary conditions. The acquisition expands Maury's RF test and measurement capabilities and access to end markets including aerospace, defense, satellite communications, semiconductors and emerging applications such as quantum and directed energy; WTT will continue to operate from its New Jersey headquarters under its current leadership.
