Multi-Tech Systems, a portfolio company of Northlane Capital Partners, acquired Radio Bridge, a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of long-range LoRaWAN wireless sensors. The add-on expands MultiTech's sensor-to-cloud portfolio, enabling tighter integration between sensors and MultiTech's gateways, device management and connectivity solutions.

Northlane Capital Partners has made a control investment in SmartWave Technologies, a Toronto-based designer and manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical systems. The founder, Peter Zosimadis, remains with the company as CTO and industry executive Jack Vresics joined as CEO; the capital will support product innovation, serve existing customers, and expand SmartWave into new end markets.

CML Microsystems Acquires MicroWave Technology, Inc.

CML Microsystems Plc has completed the acquisition of MicroWave Technology, Inc. (MwT), a Silicon Valley–based compound semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1982 that specializes in GaAs and GaN MMICs, discrete devices and hybrid amplifier products. The deal expands CML Micro's product portfolio, strengthens its mmWave and high-frequency R&D capabilities, and aims to accelerate global market reach for MwT's products via CML's sales and distribution network.

Ripley Tools Acquires Multiwave Sensors

Ripley Tools, a Hubbell brand and global manufacturer of tools and test equipment, has acquired Canadian geolocation and antenna-alignment specialist Multiwave Sensors (Bolton, Ontario). The acquisition expands Ripley’s product portfolio for wireless infrastructure installation by adding Multiwave’s Smart Aligner GNSS-based antenna alignment technology and related imaging/optical engineering capabilities.

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired M-Wave Design, a supplier of ferrite-based RF and microwave passive components used in aerospace, defense and quantum computing applications. The acquisition is an add-on to Quantic's electronics portfolio and expands its product capabilities in high-performance, cryogenic-capable components for military, space and quantum customers.
