Sikich has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Accelerated Growth, a Chicago-based accounting, finance and technology consulting firm. Approximately 120 Accelerated Growth employees (50 in the U.S. and 70 in India) will join Sikich, expanding Sikich's outsourced accounting capabilities and international presence in India.

The acquisition, which closed Nov. 1, 2018, expands Sikich’s human resources consulting capabilities and adds Executive Alliance’s experienced HR and payroll technology consultants to Sikich’s practice.

Sikich LLP Acquires Thornhill Financial, LLC

Sikich LLP has signed an agreement to acquire the operating assets of Thornhill Financial, LLC, a Cleveland-based accounting firm that provides tax, audit and financial advisory services. The deal expands Sikich's presence in the Northeast Ohio market and will allow the Thornhill team to continue operating from the Cleveland-Akron area while integrating with Sikich's local resources.

Sikich LLP Acquires O'Malley & Kwit LLC

Sikich LLP has signed an agreement to acquire the operating assets of O'Malley & Kwit LLC, a Chicago-based tax and accounting boutique. The deal will bring the O'Malley & Kwit team into Sikich's downtown Chicago office, strengthening Sikich's tax capabilities and presence in the Chicago market; the transaction was scheduled to close on November 30, 2022.

Bain Capital Provides $250M Minority Growth Investment in Sikich

Sikich LLC has received a $250 million minority growth investment from Bain Capital (via Bain Capital Special Situations and Bain Capital Credit). Sikich will maintain majority control and its existing management team as it uses the capital to accelerate growth, pursue acquisitions and enhance operational capabilities.
