Sikich LLP Acquires O'Malley & Kwit LLC

Four Leaf's founder and CEO Eric Scully will join Sikich as a partner, and the deal expands Sikich's capabilities and offerings for government clients.

Sikich signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the operating assets of Heinold Banwart, Ltd., a Peoria-area public accounting firm, expanding its central Illinois presence. Approximately 50 Heinold Banwart employees will join Sikich, broadening Sikich's accounting, tax, audit and wealth management capabilities in the region; the transaction was scheduled to close on August 31, 2020.

The move expands Sikich's presence in the Indianapolis market and brings approximately 12 Petrow Kane Leemhuis employees into Sikich's Indianapolis office to strengthen audit, tax and advisory capabilities.
