Sikich LLP Acquires Thornhill Financial, LLC

Sikich LLP has signed an agreement to acquire the operating assets of Thornhill Financial, LLC, a Cleveland-based accounting firm that provides tax, audit and financial advisory services. The deal expands Sikich's presence in the Northeast Ohio market and will allow the Thornhill team to continue operating from the Cleveland-Akron area while integrating with Sikich's local resources.

Sikich signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the operating assets of Heinold Banwart, Ltd., a Peoria-area public accounting firm, expanding its central Illinois presence. Approximately 50 Heinold Banwart employees will join Sikich, broadening Sikich's accounting, tax, audit and wealth management capabilities in the region; the transaction was scheduled to close on August 31, 2020.

Sikich Acquires Vonya Global LLC

Sikich has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Vonya Global LLC, a Chicago-based consulting firm specializing in internal audit, corporate governance and risk and compliance services. The deal brings more than 20 Vonya subject-matter experts (including three partners) into Sikich's downtown Chicago office to expand the firm's capabilities and presence in the Chicago market.
