Amazon Acquires Axio (formerly Capital Float)

Amazon has completed its acquisition of Axio (formerly Capital Float), a leading digital lending and checkout finance provider in India, following regulatory approval from the Reserve Bank of India. The deal will integrate Axio's lending capabilities with Amazon Pay Later to expand access to checkout financing for consumers and small businesses across India while Axio continues to operate under its current leadership.

iCapital Network Acquires AI Insight

iCapital Network has agreed to acquire the assets of AI Insight, Inc., an education and compliance platform that provides fund-specific research, training and credentialing for financial advisors focused on alternative investments. As part of the transaction, AI Insight’s executives Sherri Cooke and Jennifer Simon and eight additional employees are expected to join iCapital to integrate AI Insight’s learning management system into iCapital’s advisor-facing alternative investment platform.

United Capital Financial Advisors Acquires Apexium Financial

The deal strengthens United Capital's advisor base and expands its financial planning-led service model, with legal counsel to Apexium provided by Sidley Austin and Decerno Advisors acting as M&A advisor.

iCapital Acquires SIMON Markets

iCapital has completed the acquisition of SIMON Markets, integrating SIMON’s structured investments, annuities, digital assets and risk-managed products into iCapital’s alternative investment marketplace. The deal brings nearly 200 SIMON team members and SIMON CEO Jason Broder (who joined iCapital as Managing Director, Head of iCapital Solutions) to expand iCapital’s product menu, analytics, education, and advisor servicing capabilities.

iCapital Acquires Mirador

Advisor Group Acquires Infinex Financial Holdings

Advisor Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Infinex Financial Holdings, the holding company of a broker-dealer that supports banks, credit unions and institution-based advisors. Infinex, headquartered in Meriden, Connecticut, oversees roughly $30 billion in client assets and more than 750 financial professionals; the deal expands Advisor Group's presence in the financial institution channel and is subject to FINRA and other regulatory approvals.
