Honeywell Acquires SCADAfence

Honeywell has agreed to acquire SCADAfence, an Israel-based provider of operational-technology (OT) and IoT cybersecurity solutions, to expand its Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ suite. The deal will integrate SCADAfence's asset-discovery, threat-detection and governance capabilities into Honeywell's OT cybersecurity offerings and is expected to close in the second half of 2023, subject to customary approvals.

Francisco Partners Acquires Quorum Software from Thoma Bravo

Delta Electronics Acquires Trihedral (VTScada)

Delta Electronics (through its Netherlands subsidiary) will acquire 100% of Trihedral Engineering Limited, the Canadian developer of VTScada SCADA and IIoT software, for CAD 45 million. The deal brings Trihedral's SCADA software and engineering services into Delta's industrial automation, AI and data analytics strategy to strengthen offerings for smart manufacturing, smart cities and utility end markets.

Geospace Technologies Corporation acquired 100% of Aquana, LLC, a provider of wireless IoT water monitoring and remote shut-off valve systems, which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal included an initial cash payment of $1.4 million plus contingent cash payments over a six-year earn-out; Geospace said the acquisition expands its IoT and smart city capabilities and complements its existing product and manufacturing base.
