Conestoga Energy Acquires SAFFiRE Renewables

Conestoga Energy has acquired SAFFiRE Renewables, LLC from Southwest Airlines Renewable Ventures LLC, obtaining SAFFiRE’s IP, certain technologies, a proposed pilot production facility, and key technical staff. The acquisition gives Conestoga access to SAFFiRE’s DMR pretreatment technology to produce ultra-low carbon intensity ethanol for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and supports plans for a co-located pilot in Liberal, Kansas and future commercial-scale production.

Dion & Sons and Amber Petroleum Products, expanding REG's downstream footprint in Southern California. Macquarie Asset Management Invests in SkyNRG

Macquarie Asset Management, via its Macquarie GIG Energy Transition Solutions (MGETS) Fund, will make an initial investment of up to €175 million in SkyNRG to support the company’s expansion of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production capacity. The funding will help SkyNRG develop dedicated SAF facilities in Europe and the US and accelerate its growth as a major SAF producer alongside existing partners such as KLM and Boeing.

The investment will support increased production of LR100 and expansion of Lifecycle Renewables' geographic reach beyond the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to meet growing demand from institutional customers.
