Protos Security (a portfolio company of Southfield Capital) has acquired MG Security Services, a New York City–based provider of armed and unarmed security guard services, crisis management, fraud prevention and private investigations. The add-on expands Protos' East Coast footprint, scales its direct guard operations (MG employs over 1,200 guards) and furthers growth in end markets such as healthcare and commercial real estate.
