Security Services Holdings LLC (Protos Security), a Southfield Capital-backed, tech-enabled security services provider, has acquired Summit Off Duty Services, an Irving, Texas-based off-duty police officer security provider. The deal — Protos' tenth acquisition since partnering with Southfield — expands Protos' off-duty law enforcement capabilities and scale (Summit provides access to more than 60,000 police officers across 1,400+ agencies); terms were not disclosed.

Protos Security Acquires MG Security Services

Protos' co-founders Chris Copenhaver and Patrick Henderson will remain in leadership roles; Monroe Capital provided debt financing and Pepper Hamilton served as legal counsel to Southfield.
