DTM Distributors, a portfolio company of Strength Capital Partners, has acquired ACME Meat Company, a Phoenix-based specialty food distributor and processor serving independent Mexican restaurants across Arizona. The add-on expands DTM/Strength's foodservice distribution and processing capabilities; Strength's financing partners included Signature Bank and Northcreek Mezzanine.

Mead & Hunt Acquires Dovetail Cultural Resource Group

Mead & Hunt, an employee-owned architecture, engineering, and planning firm, has acquired Dovetail Cultural Resource Group, a Mid-Atlantic cultural resources management firm with offices in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Wilmington, Delaware. The acquisition adds archaeology and historic preservation expertise to Mead & Hunt's service offering and expands its capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Isla Délice Acquires Hoca Meat Products

Borgman Capital Acquires Southeastern Meats

Milwaukee-based private equity firm Borgman Capital has acquired Birmingham, Alabama-based Southeastern Meats, a producer and distributor of frozen vegetables, meats, seafood and specialty items. Borgman said it will invest in Southeastern Meats' Pick 5 and Southeastern Vegetables programs and support the company's continued geographic expansion into the East Coast and Midwest.

Cook & Boardman Acquires JDS, Inc.

American Nuts Acquires DSD Merchandisers

American Nuts, a portfolio company of Gauge Capital, has acquired DSD Merchandisers, a Livermore, California-based value-added distributor, category manager, and merchandiser of bulk food products. The deal positions American Nuts to expand its merchandising, sourcing, and route-based delivery capabilities into grocery, natural food and retail channels; Kroll advised the sellers and Houlihan Lokey served as debt advisor to American Nuts.
