Nordic Semiconductor has acquired Memfault Inc., a leading cloud platform provider for device observability and secure OTA updates, and will integrate Memfault into its nRF Cloud to deliver a complete chip-to-cloud lifecycle platform. The deal expands Nordic's offering from hardware into software and cloud services, strengthening its edge AI, security, and device-management capabilities for customers across consumer, industrial and medical IoT markets.
