Alpine Investors Launches Axcel; Partners with Michael Management, Web Age Solutions and Interskill Learning

Alpine Investors has launched Axcel, a new professional education platform within its AlpineX group, and announced that Michael Management Corporation (MMC), Web Age Solutions and Interskill Learning will partner with and sit within the platform. Axcel — led by CEO Jono Zeidan and backed by Alpine — will operate the three market-leading professional education businesses independently while providing capital, go-to-market support and shared resources; terms were not disclosed.

The deal is an add-on to Axcel's growing portfolio of IT training businesses (which already includes Web Age Solutions and Accelebrate) and will see ExitCertified continue to operate under its brand while leveraging shared resources across the platform.

Keensight Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Axxam

Keensight Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Axxam, an Italian innovative partner research organization (iPRO) headquartered in Milan, investing alongside Axxam's management. The sellers include current shareholders such as Bayer SpA and Zambon Company SpA; Axxam employs around 180 people and reported roughly €30 million of sales in 2021. Keensight intends to support the management team to accelerate growth and further develop Axxam's discovery capabilities.
