Planview acquired LeanKit to extend its work and resource management platform with Lean and Agile (enterprise Kanban) capabilities. The acquisition integrates LeanKit's Enterprise Kanban for engineering teams into Planview's WRM portfolio to better serve software development, DevOps, IT operations and engineering organizations.

Thoma Bravo will retain a minority interest; the deal is intended to accelerate Planview’s growth and expand its enterprise SaaS capabilities as it transitions leadership following CEO Greg Gilmore’s planned departure.
