KDSA Investment Partners Acquires Williams Distributors

KDSA Investment Partners, in partnership with Greyrock Capital Group, has acquired Spokane-based Williams Distributors, the largest independent direct-store-delivery (DSD) distributor of ice cream and frozen foods in the Northwest. KDSA named Tim Valdez as CEO, will support infrastructure and expansion investments, and Tony Williams — the former owner — will remain as President through year-end and serve as an advisor.

Daikin Comfort Technologies North America (DNA), a subsidiary of Daikin Industries, has acquired Williams Distributing, a family-owned HVAC and residential building products distributor headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The acquisition adds Williams' 32 locations across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and roughly 500–600 employees to Daikin's North American distribution network to support cold-climate heat-pump development and strengthen contractor and builder relationships in the Great Lakes region.

The deal brings YSCO together with Gelato d'Italia to create one of the largest third‑party ice cream manufacturers globally (combined revenues in excess of €600 million); YSCO operates production sites in Belgium and France and distributes up to 200 million liters annually.
