Access Group Acquires Guestline from The Riverside Company

The Access Group, a portfolio company of HgCapital, TA Associates and GIC, has acquired Guestline from The Riverside Company. Guestline is a UK-based provider of cloud-native hospitality software (PMS, distribution, guest experience and payments) that Riverside grew and expanded internationally; Access said the deal expands its hotel-sector offerings and product capabilities.

TPG Acquires Sabre's Hospitality Solutions Business

TPG, through its TPG Capital platform, completed the $1.1 billion acquisition of Hospitality Solutions, a carve-out from Sabre, establishing the business as an independent hospitality technology company. Hospitality Solutions also received a strategic minority investment from hotel owner-operator MCR and named Teresa Mackintosh CEO as TPG and partners position the company to accelerate product development and global customer onboarding.

Harbour Group Acquires SHF, Inc.

Harbour Group has acquired SHF, Inc., a Pasadena, Texas-based distributor and manufacturer of stainless adaptors, fluid power fittings, instrumentation fittings, and valves, in an asset transaction announced Feb. 6, 2020. Terms were not disclosed; SHF founder Michael Chapman will remain as president. Harbour Group said it will use its operational expertise to accelerate SHF's growth in current and new markets.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires Shore Excursions Group

H.I.G. Capital, through an affiliate, has completed the acquisition of Shore Excursions Group, the world's largest independent provider of onshore tours and excursions for cruise passengers. Founded in 2008 and headquartered near Fort Lauderdale, Shore Excursions Group coordinates over 4,000 tours across roughly 350 ports and has delivered more than five million tours via travel-agency and direct channels. Marathon Asset Management and Webster Bank arranged a senior-secured credit facility to support H.I.G.'s acquisition and future growth plans.

Mentha Acquires SH Group

Benelux private equity firm Mentha has acquired SH Group (SHG), a Svendborg, Denmark–based developer and manufacturer of complex smart handling solutions for the maritime and defence industries. Management will remain in place and Mentha will support SHG's organic growth and expansion into the defence market following a multiyear partnership with BWB Partners.
