Storyteller Overland has acquired TAXA Outdoors, combining Storyteller's Class B RV and expedition vehicle capabilities with TAXA's lightweight, design-forward towable camping habitats. The transaction closed alongside a significant investment from L Catterton, RX3 Growth Partners, Wheelhouse and Virentes; Neil Grimmer will become CEO of TAXA and Chief Strategy Officer of Storyteller Overland.

Storyteller Overland Acquires Global Expedition Vehicles

Storyteller Overland has acquired Global Expedition Vehicles (GXV), combining Storyteller's higher-volume production capabilities with GXV's custom expedition vehicle expertise. GXV will continue building custom rigs in Springfield, Missouri, while Storyteller will produce higher-volume Adventure Truck units in its expanded Birmingham, Alabama facilities; founders Mike and Rene' Van Pelt will remain involved in the combined business.

Camping World Acquires Travelcamp RV (12 Stores)

Camping World Holdings, Inc. announced it will acquire Travelcamp RV, adding 12 dealership locations across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. The locations are expected to transition to Camping World within 90 days, expanding the company's footprint and inventory of Thor and Forest River products as part of its plan to grow dealership count to over 320 locations.

Gathr Outdoors Acquires Cascadia Vehicle Tents

Gathr Outdoors, a portfolio company of Centre Partners, has acquired Cascadia Vehicle Tents (CVT), a Bend, Oregon–based maker of rooftop vehicle tents, awnings and car-camping equipment. Terms were not disclosed; CVT co-founder Bobby Culpepper will remain as president and report into Gathr Outdoors' Camp segment leadership.

Camping World Holdings, Inc. has agreed to acquire Pan Pacific RV Center, adding two northern California dealerships in French Camp and Morgan Hill. The transaction, expected to close in Q2 2023, expands Camping World's California footprint to twenty locations and brings experienced local teams and full-service RV sales, parts and service capabilities into the company's national retail network.
