James Richardson & Sons Acquires Bison Transport

James Richardson & Sons, Limited (JRSL) acquired 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Bison Transport Inc. and its affiliated companies from Wescan Capital Inc., effective January 1, 2021. Bison, a Winnipeg-headquartered trucking company founded in 1969 with over 3,700 employees and contractors and a fleet of roughly 2,100 tractors and 6,000 trailers, will remain headquartered in Winnipeg and retain its senior management team.
