G.S. Precision Acquires SMC Aerospace

Precision, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, has acquired SMC Aerospace, a family-owned manufacturer of engineered tubes and machined components serving the aerospace and defense markets. The add-on expands G.S. Precision’s capabilities in precision tube and machined part manufacturing and will integrate SMC’s New Hampshire facilities and leadership into GSP operations.

GCM, a precision manufacturer backed by Avista Healthcare Partners, has acquired Kettmann Machining, a San Jose-based maker of precision-machined plastic and metal parts for the MedTech industry. The add-on expands GCM's capacity with a modern 40,000 sq. ft. facility and deepens its high-precision manufacturing capabilities to support next-generation medical device OEMs.

PrecisionX Group Acquires MSK Precision Products, Inc.

PrecisionX Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired MSK Precision Products, Inc., a Tamarac, Florida-based precision machining and assembly provider specializing in Swiss-style CNC turning. The add-on expands PrecisionX's specialty precision metal manufacturing capabilities, deepens its presence in medical and aerospace & defense end markets and adds East Coast capacity; Monroe Capital provided debt financing support and FOCUS Investment Banking represented CORE.

AE Industrial Partners Acquires G.S. Precision

AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm focused on aerospace, defense and specialty industrials, has acquired G.S. Precision, a Brattleboro, Vermont-based manufacturer of high-precision aerospace and defense components. Terms were not disclosed; G.S. Precision will continue to be led by CEO Norm Schneeberger, who will remain a significant shareholder.

Accudynamics Acquires DCG Precision Manufacturing

Accudynamics, a Makers Forward, LLC portfolio company, has acquired DCG Precision Manufacturing, LLC and will operate DCG as a subsidiary. The acquisition expands Accudynamics' precision machining capabilities—particularly Swiss machining and grinding—and adds capacity to serve aerospace, defense, medical, and other industrial customers while retaining DCG's existing employees and management.

HCPI Portfolio Company Prince Industries Acquires Precision Shapes

(PSI), an AS9100-certified precision machining and sheet metal fabrication firm located on Florida’s Space Coast. The add-on strengthens Prince’s aerospace and defense capabilities and expands the combined company’s national manufacturing footprint; terms were not disclosed.
