Imprivata, the healthcare-focused digital identity company, acquired FairWarning Technologies, a patient privacy intelligence and insider-threat analytics provider, to integrate data privacy, analytics, and insider-threat detection into its Digital Identity platform. The deal (announced December 2, 2020) strengthens Imprivata's identity governance and privacy capabilities for healthcare customers and expands its analytics offerings to joint customers; the seller was private equity firm Mainsail Partners.
