The Gardner School, a Franklin, Tennessee-based preschool operator majority-owned by Quad Partners, has acquired The Compass School, a Cincinnati-based childcare provider with seven locations in Illinois, Virginia, and Ohio. The acquisition expands The Gardner School's footprint in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic and brings the seven Compass School locations into its academically focused early-childhood network.

ADIA and CapitalG Acquire Minority Stakes in TeamSystem

A wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and CapitalG, Alphabet’s growth fund, have agreed to acquire minority stakes in Italian business-software provider TeamSystem. Hellman & Friedman will remain the majority shareholder; the investments will support TeamSystem’s product expansion and international growth and are expected to close in Q1 2024 subject to customary conditions.
