The deal — a purchase from Cressey & Company LP — positions StatLab for accelerated organic growth and buy-and-build activity to expand its product suite and customer base.

The acquisition expands StatLab's microbiology capabilities, adds a U.S. R&D/manufacturing hub, and creates a dual-continent footprint for glass-slide manufacturing to better serve hospital, OEM and research customers.

Medix Biochemica Acquires ViroStat LLC

ViroStat will continue operating in Westbrook, Maine, and its employees and leadership (including President Dr. Douglas McAllister and General Manager Duncan McAllister) will join Medix Biochemica.

Principle Health Systems Acquires BioStat Laboratory in Dallas

The acquisition expands Principle's mobile laboratory and diagnostic capabilities—enabling bedside STAT testing—and brings BioStat's team and existing customer relationships into Principle's network across Texas.
