The deal expands Rensa's geographic footprint in California and Iowa and adds Air Filtration Co.'s spray booth filtration product line to Rensa's portfolio.

Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE), a Frontenac-backed industrial distributor, has acquired Parker Hannifin Filtration (Houston), LLC (dba Filter Resources, Inc.). Filter Resources — a distributor of process liquid and air filtration products serving downstream oil & gas, petrochemical, and specialty chemical markets — will retain its brand and continue operating from its Pasadena, Texas and Lake Charles, Louisiana locations under General Manager Sidney Mondin. The deal expands MCE's filtration capabilities as an add-on to its platform.

Keltec Technolab Acquires Swift Filters

Vance Street Capital portfolio company Keltec Technolab has acquired Swift Filters, a North American manufacturer of custom hydraulic filter and strainer elements founded in 1970. The deal combines Keltec's compressed air and gas filtration capabilities with Swift's hydraulic filtration expertise to create a broader product suite; terms were not disclosed and debt financing was provided by Apogem Capital.

Kymera International Acquires Majority of Assets of KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc.

Kymera International has acquired the majority of assets of KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc., a Three Rivers, Michigan-based maker of copper-zinc process media for water and industrial treatment systems. The asset purchase (terms undisclosed) expands Kymera's specialty materials portfolio into the water filtration market and adds complementary brass powder media capabilities; Kymera is PE-backed by Palladium Equity Partners.
