Parker Building Supplies Acquires Sussex Turnery and Moulding Company (Stamco)

Parker Building Supplies, a portfolio company of Cairngorm Capital Partners, has acquired Sussex Turnery and Moulding Company Limited (trading as Stamco). Stamco, a Hastings-headquartered independent builders' merchant and wholesale timber processor with five branches, ~180 employees and reported 2018 revenue of £32m, was sold as owners Mike Cullis and Roger Brightiff retired; the deal expands Parkers' footprint to 20 branches across Sussex and Kent with combined revenues of more than £100m and over 450 employees.

The enlarged group operates 24 branches with over 500 employees and combined revenues of approximately £120 million; Fairalls itself reported c.£15m revenue and about 85 employees and will continue to trade under the Fairalls brand with Richard Fairall remaining involved during the transition.
