Traverse Pointe Partners Acquires Greater Toledo Urgent Cares

Traverse Pointe Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has completed a platform acquisition of Greater Toledo Urgent Cares (GTUC), a multi-location urgent care operator led by Dr. Walid Mahmoud. Traverse Pointe will partner with GTUC management to invest in people, processes and infrastructure and pursue further expansion across Ohio, Michigan and the Great Lakes region.

ICV Partners Acquires Urgent Care Group and Combines It with Total Access Urgent Care

ICV Partners has acquired Urgent Care Group (UCG) and will combine it with its portfolio company Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) to create a larger urgent care platform operating more than 50 clinics across four states. UCG, founded in 2017 and based in Nashville, operates 24 centers with onsite x-ray and lab services and is supported by more than 400 full-time professionals; David Maloney will serve as CEO of the combined company.

Trinity Health Acquires Majority Stake in Premier Health

Trinity Health acquired a majority ownership stake in Premier Health, a national operator of health system‑branded urgent care clinics headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Under the partnership Premier Health will operate about 20 existing Trinity Health urgent care locations and plans to significantly expand its urgent care footprint across multiple states to improve access and integrate urgent care with Trinity's broader care network.
