AM Conservation (Franklin Energy) Acquires Assets of Energy Federation, Inc. (EFI)

AM Conservation, the products division of Franklin Energy, has agreed to purchase the assets of Energy Federation, Inc. (EFI) to combine product lines and marketplace capabilities and become a more comprehensive provider of products and marketplace solutions to the utility industry. Because EFI is a nonprofit, the closing is conditioned on final approval from the Massachusetts Attorney General and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

ICF has acquired Applied Energy Group (AEG) from Ameresco in a divestiture that expands ICF's utility and state & local government energy technology and advisory capabilities. AEG brings a cloud-based demand-side management platform, over 100 utility and DSM experts, and projected ~$30 million in 2024 revenue; Ameresco said the sale allows it to focus on core projects, asset and O&M businesses.
