Day & Zimmermann, the family-owned construction and engineering firm, has acquired Pittsburgh-based Minnotte Contracting Corporation to expand its union mechanical contracting, maintenance and project management capabilities across the Ohio Valley. The acquisition strengthens D&Z’s capacity to serve power, industrial and natural gas/petrochemical customers and addresses scarcity of skilled union labor in those markets.
