Bregal Partners and L Capital Invest in Juniper Landscaping

Bregal Partners has made a platform investment in Juniper Landscaping, a Fort Myers-based commercial landscaping services provider, to support the company's organic and acquisition growth across Florida and other sunbelt markets. L Capital is reported as a co-investor alongside Bregal; financial terms were not disclosed. Juniper operates 15 branches and serves homeowners' associations, commercial clients and municipalities under CEO Brandon Duke.

Verde Equity Partners Acquires Juniper Landscape

San Diego-based private equity firm Verde Equity Partners has acquired Juniper Landscape, a commercial landscaping and property maintenance company operating in Southern California. Verde named Tom Heaviland as CEO and operating partner of the platform and said the deal is part of a vertical roll-up strategy to pursue additional commercial landscaping acquisitions across the U.S. Southwest.

Scopes Facility Services Acquires Davis Landscaping Group

Scopes Facility Services, a Westbridge Capital portfolio company, has acquired Atlanta-based Davis Landscaping Group. Davis provides commercial landscaping installation and maintenance to multi-family properties, HOAs and commercial clients (representing over 170 properties and 20,000+ units); financing for the transaction was provided by Westbridge Capital Partners Income Trust and Davis' CEO/owner Jay Stephens will remain in a strategic client role.

The deals deepen Juniper's presence in the Florida panhandle and Palm Beach markets and coincide with a major multi-year installation, design and maintenance contract at Tyndall Air Force Base; the acquired businesses' leaders will remain running their local branches.
