CoreDial, a cloud communications and contact center provider, acquired the assets of eZuce, a video collaboration and communications technology vendor based in Stoneham, Massachusetts. The deal brings eZuce's Vibe video platform, Uniteme UC solution, and Reachme contact center offering into CoreDial's CoreNexa platform to expand its enterprise-class video and collaboration capabilities.

BCM One (Thompson Street Capital Partners Platform) Acquires nexVortex

Thompson Street Capital Partners' platform company BCM One has acquired nexVortex, a Herndon, Virginia-based provider of managed SIP trunking services to more than 6,000 customers. The add-on expands BCM One's SIP platform and managed services footprint and brings new offices in Herndon, Virginia and Grand Rapids, Michigan; terms were not disclosed.

BCM One has acquired Wholesale Carrier Services (WCS), a facilities-based operator of an IP-enabled voice and data network, in a deal that expands BCM One's managed services portfolio and global network reach. Cisco agreed to acquire BroadSoft, a provider of cloud PBX, unified communications, team collaboration and contact center software, for $1.9 billion (paying $55 per share). The deal strengthens Cisco's software- and cloud-focused collaboration portfolio and brings BroadSoft's large service-provider customer base and cloud voice/contact-center capabilities into Cisco's applications group.
